Head Trainer

Mark graduated with a BSc (Hon) in Environmental Science from Edge Hill, has worked in the outdoor industry for over 15 years and has over 5 years experience working on the front line with the Ambulance service. Now, he is a full time trainer running a range of first aid and outdoor courses. Mark is a keen biker and also enjoys paragliding, walking and caving. Mark spends much of his time over in the Picos de Europa, Spain, where he runs a range of activaties. Along with running many first aid courses for North Star First Aid he is also an External Verifier for the Certificating body ITC.

 First Aid Trainer

Andy has been teaching first aid for over 10 years. Like many of our instructors he started his career in the outdoors and works as an MIC all over the world. Also a qualified teacher, Andy works on a wide range of courses and is also an External Verifier for the iTc organisation. Andy has a huge amount of experience with the Forest School programs and has put together a specialist outdoor paediatric course. Andy also has his own company Adventur Education Training, and runs ML and SPA courses.

First Aid Trainer

Susana worked  for the NHS as a diabetes specialist nurse for over 8 years. Susana also has many years experience in general nursing and heart care. With her wealth of knowledge Susana soon became a valuable member of the team. Also keen on the outdoors, walking, climbing and likes to go for a spin on the motor bike.
